Islamic Art

Examples of Islamic art in the Kresge Art Museum collection focus in particular on medieval Seljuk dynasty (9th – 13th century) objects from Persia and Turkey and lacquer ware typical of artists of the 19th century Persian Qajar dynasty. Additionally, several Arab and Persian manuscript pages are of interest.
