The 6th annual Twilight in the Garden fundraiser for Kresge Art Museum on Sunday, September 11th, at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development, set new records and was an all-around success!

This not-to-be-missed event drew a record number of attendees, such as Honorary Chairs MSU Provost Kim Wilcox, Representative Gretchen Whitmer, Trustee Melanie Foster, and Dr. Milton Muelder, for a lovely sit-down dinner. Highlights included live jazz by Sunny Wilkinson and Ron Newman, artwork by featured artists Kim Kauffman, Sharon Griffes Tarr, and Steven “Z” Sayles, and a spirited live auction conducted by local celebrity, Chris Holman.

The live and silent auction featured a generous array of artwork donated by local artists and artisans and raised a record amount of over $28,000. The total proceeds from this annual event set another Twilight record, raising over$68,000 for Kresge Art Museum Facilities Fund for an expanded art museum.
