Since 2000, Friends has focused on raising funds for an expanded or improved museum facility. Eli and Edythe Broad’s gift to build a world class art museum at MSU, designed by Zaha Hadid and to open in 2012, energized the effort. Through museum memberships, special events, donations and sponsorships, every community gift, large and small, has made a difference.
