Kresge Art Museum is located in East Lansing, Michigan on
the first floor of the Kresge Art Center at Michigan State
University. The museum is located at the intersection of Auditorium
and Physics Roads, between the MSU Alumni Chapel and the MSU
Auditorium.

Detour Routes
Beginning in the spring of 2008, Farm Lane will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles from Mt. Hope Road north to Trowbridge Road. Please review the following detour map to plan an alternoute route to Kresge Art Museum:

From Detroit: Take 96 west to U.S.
127 North (toward Clare). Take the Trowbridge exit east to
Harrison Road. Turn left on Harrison Road. Continue on Harrison,
about 1/2 mile, to Shaw Lane. Turn right on Shaw. Continue
on Shaw until you reach Farm Lane. Turn left. Continue north
on Farm Lane crossing over the Red Cedar River. On your right
will be the Auditorium, a large, older brick building. At
the stoplight turn right onto Auditorium road. Kresge
is the next building on your right, between the Auditorium
and the Chapel.
From Jackson: Take U.S. 127 north (combines
with 496). Take the Trowbridge exit east to Harrison Road.
Turn left on Harrison Road. Continue on Harrison, about 1
/2 mile, to Shaw Lane . Turn right on Shaw. Continue
on Shaw until you reach Farm Lane. Turn left. Continue north
on Farm Lane crossing over the Red Cedar River. On your right
will be the Auditorium, a large, older brick building. At
the stoplight turn right onto Auditorium road. Kresge
is the next building on your right, between the Auditorium
and the Chapel.
From Grand Rapids: Take 96 to exit 89
(69 to Flint, etc.). Take 69 to the East Lansing and U.S.
127 exits. Take U.S. 127 to East Lansing and continue to
the Trowbridge Road exit. Take the Trowbridge exit east to
Harrison Road. Turn left on Harrison Road. Continue on Harrison,
about 1 /2 mile, to Shaw Lane . Turn right on Shaw.
Continue on Shaw until you reach Farm Lane. Turn left. Continue
north on Farm Lane crossing over the Red Cedar River. On
your right will be the Auditorium, a large, older brick building.

From Flint: Take 69 to the East Lansing
exit to Saginaw Street. Continue on Saginaw Street east to
Hagadorn Road. Turn left (south) on Hagadorn. Continue on
Hagadorn to Grand River. Turn right. Take Grand River west
to the Collingwood entrance, turn left onto Collingwood and
continue to Farm Lane, curving left onto Farm Lane. At the
stoplight by the Auditorium turn left onto Auditorium road.
Kresge is the first building on your right.
From North: Take U.S. 127 into Lansing
and take the Trowbridge exit east to Harrison Road. Turn
left on Harrison Road. Continue on Harrison, about 1 /2 mile,
to Shaw Lane. Turn right on Shaw. Continue on Shaw until
you reach Farm Lane. Turn left. Continue north on Farm Lane
